i don't think he meant that he has 4-5 seasons ready he was saying you gotta have content to make that much shyt in order to get taken seriously in the TV world. he had to demonstrate that he had enough story for that many seasons. this show is not shot that much ahead of time.

To me, it sounded like he had the overall plotlines mapped out already. Season 1, was forming the group. Season 2 has been recording of 36 Chambers. So, lets say S3 would be from Meth & Dirty, Rae...S4 GZA, Ghost, and introducing Killabeez, S5 - Recording Wu Forever.

I'd be perfectly fine with that as a complete series.

Still odd to see RZA on a network news TV press junket.

plus you just get much better interviews & responses from RZA w/ someone who actually knows the show:

This is good but....You probably have to go a bit further in terms of themes.

season 1: establishing all the dead ends to street life, introducing major players

season 2: establishing group, recording an album, tasting the beginning of success. Being naïve but picking up quickly.

season 3: Instant Success! Album is OUT. Dealing with fame of 36 Chambers, and how people change. Everyone goes their own way with their own deals at the end.

Season 4: Everyone is apart. Its not the same. All the fames takes the brothers away from each other and fighting to stay a family. A lot of internal beef over who gets what. The business takes over the music.

Season 5: the return. Slowly bringing the group back into formation and finishing triumphantly (pun intended)

That's how RZA had it. When the show was in pre-production he only said it would show how he brought together the Clan, with his vision, to leave their street lives. When Season 2 was announced, all that was said was that it would cover the recording of 36 Chambers. We got no other plot points or themes. I think they have summaries, and then will fit their stories in the seasons. We know they have enough individual stories because there's 9 of them, and things happened to each. But they prob will build the seasons around the albums, up to Wu-Forever.

I doubt they're even gonna cover any success this other than signing the deal. There's only 3 episodes left, and we already know that there's the video for Proteck Ya Neck and Chessboxin being recorded.

300 murders a year
Another dope episode shopping the record:salute:

This show is on a run, I wish a bigger platform like Netflix had it to distribute globally. If this had dropped on their it would have been massive
Hulu is about as big as Netflix right now hell I hear more people talking about watching Hulu these days.
