Official WrestleMania 33 thread [4/2/17 from Orlando, Florida]

-CW match was solid. Was surprised Aries lost, but I like that Neville retained. Breh is killing it.

-Didn't see IC or Battle Royale match.

-AJ/Shane was decent and surprising.

-KO/Y2J was another decent match. Maybe the MOTN in terms of ring work.

-4 Way women's match was what it was. Decent match.

-Ladder match was fun and probably the actual MOTN for entertainment. Hardys returning was the best thing from the show.

-Mixed tag match, I spent most time surfing the Coli. Miz soaking up the crowd reaction was probably the best thing out of it.

-I thought HHH/Seth was decent. Nothing special, but not as bad as people made it out to be. Slow match and proves Trips needs to stop wrestling. He's becoming Taker status.

-Bray/RKO was meh. The stupid videos in the ring did nothing for the match.

-Brock/Goldberg was fun and surprising. It did what it needed to do. Props to Goldberg for taking those suplexes.

-Women's 6 Pack was just a "get your shyt in quick" match. Nothing special, but had some nice moments.

-Main was terrible. It was rough seeing Taker go out like Old Yellar.

Show gets a C. Only things to take away from the show were Hardys returning and Taker's possible last match.

Overall a slightly above average WM that I won't revisit outside of the Hardyz return pop and AJ/Shane (really surprised by how entertained I was by this but the P1 Gawd & Shane showed out in the MOTN). For me those 2 and Brock/Berg were the highlights of the night with AA/Neville being solid too.

Lowlights being pretty much everything else. Really surprised New Day did as little as the did. Don't want to speculate but I hope the leaks didn't have anything to do with this. Also, WWE gotta stop muting the crowd, shyt is horrible and destroys replay value for their events.

Unrelated but I don't know how white people can wear sandals to sporting events. I say white because the friends I came with are and a few people on the shuttle back to the parking garages were. Plus who knows how many of the 75,000 other fans had on sandals. And flip flops too for that matter. I have house sandals that have a pretty thick sole and decent covering at the top. These people wearing a piece of foam and a strap on their feet, outside in a public place with thousands of other people. Not only is it unsanitary but it must be hella uncomfortable.

Didnt like the finish to the AJ/Shane, y2j/KO at all... Matches were good though


Hardyz was the highlight definitely. And them winning was even better.

Taker match was better than I expected... Reigns winning was trash.
Guess he's done.. Kinda sad about that even tho he about to break in pieces. Finish to this match was good even tho reigns is scust

Everything else was cool other than sasha losing to a turnbuckle

The show was alright. Taker's Send off was pretty well done and the ladder match was alot better than I expected. Hopefully they don't back track with Roman I think turning him is probably the best way to get him truly ready to be the guy cause having a cool demeanor and cool movement can only get you so far.
