There so Hellbent on making Roman that guy but this may be the icing on the cake of a point of no return.

This may have worked if they slow cooked on some Pot Roast shyt with another tag title reign and/or midcard reign and have to break the streak . But smarks will never forget this and Rome gonna get Cena reactions till he retires or breaks off into Hollywood to replace Jason Mamoa.

They need to figure out how to make Wrestlemania shorter. shyt was too fukking long. Hell, the super bowl isn't even as long. Go back to being a strictly 3 hour ppv with no extra filler (like Pitbull's music performance).
Back from maybe 2001-2008 it wasn't 4 hours? I can deal with that, especially with no musical performances. That's another reason I didn't watch. I didn't want to spend 7 hours on this. My favorites were 17, 19, and 24 and none of them were this long or even close. The only musical performances they had were bands playing guys live to the ring (Motörhead, saliva, drowning pool, limp bizkit)

Man everyone gone out my house now, I'm sitting here reading everyone's thoughts on the main and I can't believe they went the "retire the old dog" route here with Roman. I mean, it was time for Taker to go out but Roman isn't in the position to be the one to do it nor did he gain anything from it. :patrice:

Show was really the ultimate thrill ride. Slow build up of excitement then disappointment when it was over. :francis:

Don't know if the show ended on reigns standing on the ramp or what. Fireworks were to drown out the boos. Taker got a nice reception at the end. Biggest pop of the night had to be the Hardys. Crowd was pretty consistent on the other wrestlers reactions. Few cool spots and moments. Crazy how five titles changed hands tonight. Surprised the universal title match went that long but it was good. My friends had a bet going on over/under five minutes, that had us all hyped during the match. Styles and Shane match was top 3, if not best match. Owens and Jericho also was good. Was a decent show overall.

This is why I'm concerned about the future of the business, because they're relying real heavy on stars of yesteryear and not creating any new guys to fill their shoes. Reigns, Rollins, Dean, AJ, Bray, New Day, they're great, but not on the level of those guys you mentioned in terms of popularity due to a lot of ineptitude on WWE's part. It's worrying when the top moments from tonight's Wrestlemania in 2017 were from Taker, Hardy Boyz, Shane, and Brock. Also kinda worrying that your top 2 champs are guys who were on top 10/15 years ago.
Three years ago, Bray Wyatt was the hottest rising heel in the company. He has since lost every feud he's been in except the one where dean Ambrose beat himself with an exploding tv and has reached the point where nobody can take him seriously. He has lost or been humiliated at every wrestlemania he has been at now (clean losses in 2014-15. Embarrassed by the rock last year. Beaten clean this year.). Two years ago, rusev rode to the ring on a fukking tank. Last year him and the League of Nations got stunners after a forgettable match and this year he was not even on the card. The new day has been their best team in years. Last year they were in said forgettable match where's their tag team titles weren't even on the line, and this year they weren't even on the card. AJ and KO both went on in the first hour. Samoa Joe wasn't on the card at all. Ambrose wasn't on the card at all. They are out here relying on 47 year old triple h, 40 year old Brock, 50 year old Goldberg, 15 year veteran Randy Orton and John cena, and 52 year old undertaker. The only guy under 35 they protect is a guy the crowd seemingly doesn't want on tv at all. Remember the crowd reaction when Roman entered the rumble at number 30? It was equal parts :gucci::francis::stopitslime::martin::beli::shaq2::camby:. That's the only guy under 35 that they protect.
