This movie kind of contradicts the dialogue from Justice League about Diana being in hiding since WW1

If she was being a hero in America in 84 there would definitely be more proof of her being a meta human than that old ass photo Luther had found from the first film.

I think the film will be good if we view this as separate from the rest of the DCEU and just look at it as the Wonder Woman sequel

Never liked the idea of giving WW a sword, I feel like it waters her down.

She already has super human strength, giving her a sword makes as much sense as giving Superman a sword.

That was acknowledged already Patty didn't like that specific decision about disappearing. That's why Bruce called her out on it specifically when they were arguing about bringing Superman back. Was a bit of a 4th wall comment.

True but it wasn’t a regular piece in her arsenal for the longest time.

If she’s a trained fighter and she already has super human strength, the sword is kind of redundant.

I happen to think she’s cooler, and more unique, without one. Turning her into a sword and shield character was somewhat lame imo.

But hey to each his own, I guess you could argue it makes for more ‘intense’ action scenes.

main reason was to get it away from the Joker movie that was opening a few weeks earlier especially since its getting good buzz
moving it to 2020 is better plus Marvel releases 3 movies a year also
