Just got back from seeing this. Incredible brehs. The movie was not without flaws, namely a lengthy runtime and long periods of time without action, but if you can get past that, this shyt is off the chain.

This seemed very Disney/childlike compared to the first one.. Maybe it's because it's the 80s and more colorful? IDK, the tone just seemed very different.. Not that the first one was dark

Not bad but the first was def better..

I'm about 30 mins in and this shyt seem goofy and campy as hell so far. It feels like the comic book movies pre Batman Begins, like a Zemeckis super hero movie. Perhaps that's what Jenkins was going for, but other than the Themescera opening scene it's missing the mark for me so far.

and all of the heel/leg shots in the movie in general

I think Patty was trying to recreate the Donner's Superman style, same type of scenes in that movie, in this one. Honestly though she pulled it off better than Superman Returns

Yikes this did not deserve to be 2.5 hours. Isn't Maxwell Lord supposed to be like Lex Luthor? They turned him into a conman/genie
