It would be a terrible move. Sides has actually been a really good coach in spite of things. To be honest, with another year of what she’s currently doing plus a natural progression expected from Boston and Clark l, the Fever should at least become a playoff team.

CC is turnover prone/a poor defender and Reese doesn't have the offensive development yet. They're better off using the break to rest to work on their individual games. There's plenty of time for them to make the team.

The Olympics aren't necessary for them to draw eyes to the sport.
