Y'all didn't like the Ariel trade, didn't like Chen being gone, didn't want HVL, and I'm not sure how you feel about Sivka but the Eurobasket tournament is this year so she won't be available until mid season. She will miss camp and they might defer her rookie season until 2026.

This season is likely a wash but the bright side is you probably get a top 5 pick next year which should land you Miles, Fudd, or Flau'jae.

What does need to happen this year is seeing Angel and Cardoso gel more. I've never been sold on their fit.

With all the G talent coming out next yr, we're still in position to get a G that would've went top 3 or 4 in this draft

It would benefit us to stagger Angel & Cardoso's mins

I still think post players rule the league but yes Rickea & Angel would've been a better pairing

The organization has a terrible reputation and free agents don't want to be there. One year of Angel isn't changing that. We'll see what the new coach has in store. Maybe it all works out.

Next year when 80% of the league are free agents what do you think the deciding factors will be? They ain't making much salary wise so it's not like a team can just throw a wild offer at them.

I guess it'll come down to market size. If you play in NY, LA or Chicago you can probably get better sponsor deals

Okay, makes sense. With all of the distractions from last season they could’ve folded but they didn’t. If they stayed healthy I believe they would’ve went deep into the playoffs, so I see this season as an improvement if health permits. But next season, is when it will happen for them. But lowkey I think there’s some yep of weird thing against them league wide.

The GM wants proven players. This isn't the most ideal fit for HVL but they got shooters at the 2 and 3 spot and she's coming off the bench as Courtney Vandersloot backup anyway.

While HVL will get the hype. The Slovenia chick might be the best draft move for the Sky.

People on here will underestimate how good the Iriafen and Slovenia chick moves were for their respective teams. Backup 4 is so weak in the W, if you have someone as good as those two, you have a clear advantage especially if your starting 4 is legit. See NY with Stewie and Leonie Fiebich.

I am really impressed with the roster building of the Sky, Mystics, and Storm.

I am confused by the Sparks and Mercury.

Dallas got Paige so it's not all bad but they could have done better. I feel like they draft the best talents and have the poorest fits. I do like Carrington and McCowan. Arike has a lot to prove with Paige being there. She like Mitchell has to prove to be team players. If she can do that which Mitchell eventually did in Indy, then she can stay. I don't like N. Smith but Paige is much better at being a floor general than Caitlin is.
