That's a surprising one

She was getting 21 minutes a game when Juju was playing, had a green light in the offense, and will likely start with her out next season. I don't get this move unless a school is offering her a bigger bag.

She only took 5 shots in the UCONN loss despite playing 36 minutes. Maybe she felt like she wasn't a part of the game plan but she got her shots vs Kansas State so who knows.

So much transfers :gucci: :dead:

There are over 1100.

Kayleigh Heckel is also rumored to be leaving USC too, them 5 star freshmen were being scapegoated all year being compared to Caitlin's Iowa supporting cast its not a shock that some of them are bouncing.. they could be averaging double digits at another program if utilized correctly instead Lindsay had them standing in the corner all year watching iso ball. Unless you're going to an established program like UConn or South Carolina, most top level prospects are trying to be stars not role players so ego and pride come into play I'm sure

They were slotted for a bigger role next year due to the circumstances of Juju's injury but the coach is still not good at her job so it's not a guarantee she knows what to do with all of that talent. Kennedy and the incoming freshman Jazzy Davidson will probably have big years in 2026 but the problem will persist when Juju comes back and their roles decrease

I would like to see Kayleigh stay at USC. She is a good player and she should have received more playing time than Talia.

USC needs to start Kayleigh Heckel and keep Talia von Oelhoffen as the backup

Jazzy Davidson is a good addition.

once again these players waiting for that new CBA

I read that those signed this year would get still get the salary increase from the new CBA. Not sure how true that is but I'm surprised she's staying given her NIL money is big. Miles can get 6 figures in collective money plus increase her NIL money so I get why she'd stay. They're saying TCU is pursuing her and if they gave HVL half a mil she can't turn type of money down for 78k.

As long as I've been watching college basketball, I've never understood why Division I have a Wooden, AP, and Naismith award. The crazy thing is that the sometimes there are different winners. I understand the women's Wade Trophy in that only Juniors or Seniors can win it, but even that's nonsense to have 4 different awards for player of the year. That's like the NBA haven't 4 different MVPs in a season.
