The "Juju has no help" rhetoric is such a lazy copout

USC had the top recruiting class and top transfer portal pickups in 2024. They have 6 freshmen who were 4 and 5 star ranked recruits in HS, 3 of those being All Americans + a transfer who was projected as a top 2 pick in this upcoming draft prior to stepping foot in USC. It's not a personnel issue it's a coaching issue. They also have the #2 ranked HS player in the nation coming in next year and the no help narrative will remain the same because she won't be in a system that fully utilizes her or the rest of the talent on the roster because it's designed to be a one woman show.

UConn's not getting a #1 seed, they needed to take at least one of the ND/USC games in the non-conf to offset the Big East fluff.

That win at South Carolina by almost 30 should carry a lot of weight

ND losing & TX losing gave them an opening

that SC win is what is keeping UConn on the #2 seed line and not sliding to the #3 line after that loss to that Tenn team that they had no business losing to. Texas has 14 Quad 1 wins, tied for 2nd in the country after South Carolina, UConn only has 5, UConn is not overtaking them for their #1 seed. I would love for UConn to be the #2 seed in Texas's region though because I would bet on UConn beating them and that archaic offense.

IF UCONN ends up as a #1 seed it is because they are number 1 in the NET rankings because of their wide scoring margins over those Big East teams.

The bracketologists are currently projecting TCU as a #2 seed and Duke as a #3. IMO, either Duke, LSU, or TCU is going to be a #3 seed.
