Liberty-Lynx Game 2 draws largest WNBA Finals audience in 23 years, up 115 percent from 2023 Game 2
'The Caitlin Clark effect ' is spreading and fleet even in CC's absence
a rising tide really does lifts all ships

How does Clark make her fanbases watch a game she’s not in? All of them have stated, and I quote, “Clark is out of the playoffs, see you next season”. Hell no, she ain’t getting credit for this shyt.Liberty-Lynx Game 2 draws largest WNBA Finals audience in 23 years, up 115 percent from 2023 Game 2

It’s a mix for sure. I started watching this year mostly following Clark but in watching the finals and watched the semis tooHow does Clark make her fanbases watch a game she’s not in? Are you and @CHICAGO fukking morons or trolls??How does Clark make her fanbases watch a game she’s not in? All of them have stated, and I quote, “Clark is out of the playoffs, see you next season”. Hell no, she ain’t getting credit for this shyt.
The NBA on CBS was already popular before Jordan. The Celtics/Lakers rivalry carried the NBA thru the 80s before Jordan ever sniffed a finals appearance. It was all laid out for the Bulls when the bigger station, NBC at the time, got the rights for the 90-91 season. Don't come up here talking this nonsense that no one was watching the NBA before 1991Are you and @CHICAGO fukking morons or trolls??
How did Michael Jordan help the other 30 NBA teams get viewers and other NBA players sell shoes that don’t have the Jordan logo??? He gets credit right?
Millions of viewers watch a sport breaking records that follow one player who broke the same viewership and attendance records in college and we gonna pretend she didn’t lift the tide?
Of course when people are invested into a player or team that helps the league because now they become fans of sport/team/opposing team or hate the star player or are just now invested in the sport and want to watch the finals.
Or you can lie to yourself and say that the world is suddenly invested into Lynx vs NY just because it was suddenly on the algorithm
You don’t have to be a fukking idiot to have Black pride yall overcompensating or something yall probably grew up in white neighborhoods or something![]()

Don't come up here talking this nonsense that no one was watching the NBA before 1991.ESPN has fooled all of you into thinking no one watched any NBA before the bulls won their first title and that's just not true. Fuking Isiah Thomas had a highly rated Disney television family movie before the Bulls won a title and even that was on NBC while the NBA was still on CBS.
And I must be stupid, but I'm still trying to figure out how are a group of people that are saying they are NOT watching anymore WNBA until next season, responsible for a sellout stadium? You honestly don't think that's logical to ask?
but how will their league get any ratings since Clark fans are only watching the Finals for Clark?
