because it's trickery how they do it. If your don't know what you're seeing, then you can be easily fooled. They let them play for the first half, barely sending the Fever to line. Other team builds lead off physical play and they have more freethrows than the Fever as the refs don't give them the flopping calls. Then about 4 minutes into the 3rd, they wither start sending the Fever to the line every other possesion on touch fouls or start calling touch fouls changing the way defense is plays. Now the other team can't complain because the Fever hasn't shot many freethrows all game. So they can't say, "they ae going to the line too much" or "these are touch fouls".. Once this is established with the touch fouls, now they have to play defense by trying not to foul instead of trying to stop the scorer. 4th quarter they call it even, but the momentum has shifted. This has happened a few games, but you're right, most teams shoot more freethrows than them and they should because Clark, Mitchell, and Hull shoot a lot of outside shots. The game is the game
