not necessarily. John Wallace led Syracuse to the national title without one other NBA player on the roster. They lost to Kentucky in the championship game. Wallace was drafted to the Knicks, contenders at the time, and could do shyt. It does make her life easier, but being on a good team doesn't mean you will necessarily succeed.
