the same can be said of many other big cities in the US. I don't think baltimore is the only example of this type of rampant corruption and fukkery.
Baltimore is something different because its out in the open as if it was the 60s and 70s.

Just finished this last night, every episode it got better, seeing so many people from the wire definitely gave me a nostalgic feel. Everyone did well in their roles. Jaime's role as Suiter was good but at some times with his demeanor and cadence I felt I was watching MARLO and Not an actor playing Sean Suiter. He has that same delivery in everything I've seen him in.

I'm going to watch the documentary on him specifically. But overall it was a classic series, short but leave you wanting so much more but it wrapped it up well. So much corruption in that city.

Great show, definitely gonna run this back. This show was necessary I remember it being mentioned but the story didn’t really stick but this is a level of corruption I haven’t seen. It’s wild…. Now this the type of show that makes you understand why defunding the police should be a real thing

Not understanding the criticisms of Jamie Hector’s performance. Dude was quiet, humble and reserved - the exact opposite of Jenkins. That juxtaposition was obvious, and Jamie played his part perfectly.

:francis:
His character was supposed to be on edge all season & he played it perfect imo..Everytime he was on screen he had a nervous energy

I believe this is a reasonable take..in power he was a voodoo Marlo ..my man's in Tupac.. everybody wax poetic about nostalgia of the wire..I have thoughts and opinions about this..Bosch was good...but Jamie Hector is Jamie Hector..it isn't anything bad per SE.. maybe type cast..suiter actually has a scar on his face too...that sorta shyt..that's a little unfair..I'll be back in a few to elaborate more on my thoughts

So Herc and Carv were child's play compared to the real thing, wow :ohhh:
I kept thinking that to myself too.

But really, they're cops 2000-2008 era (remember the typewriters in the BPD in season 1?). So it was obviously present then, and just kept getting worse and worse.

Without being revolutionary..I'm 60 40 on they killed him. Denver/ Aurora Colorado is very fukked up..despite what people thing..my heart can't agree with cops.. especially theres enough to seemingly absolve the devil's.. but maybe he was just taking the easy way out..I don't trust well ever know..the truth is all that matters..I'm afraid we'll never get that
