man, I don't know if this was posted, but marlo's character on here, the homocide detective was killed in the line of duty right after all this went down in 2017. HBO has a documentary on this called "the slow hustle".
this is directed by sonja sohn of the wire.
apparently he was set to testify against the GTTF cops. u already know the fix is in here.
i thought this was the best episode yet, really showcased how great of an actor Jamie Hector has become.
i feel like Marlo was not as complex as a role as he has done since. not that Marlo wasn't a masterful performance in itself, but i do feel like it was a much more physical and intimidation reliant performance than showing emotion for obvious reasons
i binged Bosch over the pandemic and even during that you could see how much better he got as an actor from season to season.
glad he is getting to display it on a show that way more people are probably gonna watch.
if you go into it basically knowing it's police propaganda meant to make cops look good, it's a pretty entertaining show with some really entertaining storylines/cases.How is Bosch?
also the progression of Jamie Hector's character is probably the best part of the show. but the acting from everyone but Bosch's daughter is really good and there are a couple seasons where I ran through them quick because the storylines were that addicting, so... overall it's definitely a show I'd watch if you've kind of seen everything you know you want to watch and you just kind of need something to watch.if you go into it basically knowing it's police propaganda meant to make cops look good, it's a pretty entertaining show with some really entertaining storylines/cases.
but at times the cop loving shyt was annoying.
