So? Doesn’t matter as long as HBO is good with the numbers and the social media metrics etc then that shyt is irrelevant to them. If they’re good, then it’s all good. Hell, Lindelof says he doesn’t even know if he has a season 2 in mind. So this could easily be a one shot deal anyway

It's just funny when you read the article and how they quote all the crying cacs one after another lol.

Ratings tend to drop for most shows from the season/series premiere towards the middle of the season and then get higher towards the end. This is also HBO, they're not one of these trash basic cable networks worried solely about ratings. They let Lindelof get multiple seasons with The Leftovers and that wasn't some ratings juggernaut.

For reference, this season so far is doing vastly better than a show like Insecure did around the same time in its release history, and Insecure is on it's way to season 4. Lindelof will get to make as much or little of this show as he wants.

LMAO

YOU GOTTA TAKE BUDGET INTO ACCOUNT.

INSECURE COSTS PENNIES TO MAKE
COMPARED TO THIS SHOW.

THE CHEAP SHOWS ALWAYS GET A LONGER LEASH ON THESE NETWORKS.

I BET THAT TULSA SCENE
COST MORE THAN INSECURES 1ST SEASON BUDGET.

I don't know if you've watched it yet, but His Dark Materials looks like it took just as much if not more to produce than Watchmen. Watchmen had the better premiere, numbers-wise, regardless. Watchmen looks expensive but I doubt it's anywhere near what it costs them to make a season of Westworld. HBO's never been cheap, even with shows that weren't pulling in crazy ratings.

WHAT DOES ANY OF THIS HAVE TO DO WITH INSECURE BEING IN ITS 4TH SEASON?

You brought up budget when I brought up HBO sticking with Insecure:gucci:How does me bringing up other HBO shows with high budgets not have to do with your post?:dwillhuh:

DARK MATERIALS IS ON ITS 1ST SEASON
AND WESTWORLD HAD THE MOST VIEWERS
OF ANY 1ST SEASON IN HBO HISTORY.

IM NOT SURE HOW THIS HELPS YOUR POINT.

The Watchman does not look expensive to produce. The CGI shots may cost a buck or two but the overall set pieces look minimal.
