I say this with 100% conviction:

If anyone on here has relatives in the military right now that you are close to or care about, advise them to get out by any means necessary. If that means refusing direct orders or going AWOL and ending up in a military jail before getting a dishonorable discharge, bite the bullet as opposed to getting blown up for trump and his party of chicken hawks. These people are corrupted from top to bottom and will use all of us as human shields to cover their own asses, not to mention their viewing us all as pawns to amuse themselves while watching the region burn.

They won’t attack US soil but they will make America feel the pain economically. Close the straits of Hormuz, blast Saudi, UAE, Kuwait oil infrastructure and not only that target their water desalination plants and electrical grid then activate their Shia proxies in those countries to plunge those countries into chaos permanently taking oil offline which mean oil at $300 a barrel and higher. Once that happens we are back in 2008 recession territory. Not to mention US troops in Iraq are sitting ducks in Iraq. Can see Iran fire cruise missiles and ballistics missiles against US bases in Iraq and the PMU go full Guerilla warfare which will escalate into all out regional war. Hezbollah and Hamas will start a two front war with Israel. The Gulf States plunge into chaos, Iraq in chaos and the global market in free fall. This is why no one wanted to start war with Iran. It’s not worth it in the end because we do not know how it will end and the cost is to high for a war.

This seems like a plausible worst case scenario. But also suggests Iran is not a rational actor and does not care for further retaliatory action. If there’s anything past decades have shown it is that 1) they’re rational 2) they’re patient and 3) extremely risk averse when it comes to conventional action.
