The only way Iran will negotiate with the US is if Trump is tried in Iran, the adviser tells @fpleitgenCNN. “There is only one way: first Trump must be tried in our own court, he should punished for the crime he committed. Then we could negotiate.”

The Iraq parliament might have a vote to kick US troops out of Iraq today. If the Iraqis vote to US troops to leave Trump must heed it. No point in saying no and have US servicemen die because of his ego. Because if says no Iran’s shia proxies are gonna go ham in Iraq.

Won’t be that simple. The PM has to flex for his biggest political backers but I would wager this is still just symbolism and they’ll drag the implementation of the resolutions. Also Kurds and Sunni MPs boycotted the session. I could see the former in particular making strong case they want continued US presence in their region.

If that happens I fear the Iraqi Shiites might wyl out. And some of them may act out without Iranian orders. The next 72 hours are going to be critical.
