He won't be able to contain this situation because of his ego. The screenshot articles on those tweets show that he cares more about whether he looks weak or strong, than US long term vision, security and consequences. It's always been that way with him. So when Iran counter attacks, Trump will look to do something "better and bigger" as Trump likes to say just to satisfy his ego and feel he looks strong. This will be a disaster for him in 2020.Trump is mad man he mustn’t win a second term. His incompetence is frightening.
I'm glad we are finally moving back towards needing congressional approval for strikes, but Dems acting like it hasn't been common place to unilaterally order strikes for the last 2 decades is

I think there will be more cyber attacks
So what happens after the US defeats Iran? Government change? Will they back a democracy? Something worse then ISIS/ISIL? Better armed and better equipped? Do they leave the current Government in place? I dont see much of a win here unless they intend to fully dig in and invest into a full blown war. Otherwise the US is just throwing rocks at a Hornets nest. The citizens of Iran will get done dirtier then the Kurds. Abandoned by America after trying to overthrow their government.
There’s no winning in Iran unless the current gov is out but from what we’ve seen in Iraq a democracy will never work there as well. As a last resort I would expect Iran to destroy as much of Saudi Arabia as possible to fuk up the flow of oil which would send this country into chaos. That’s there only real play
