This episode had everything I guess you could say. Character development, action, GREAT dialogue (TWD dialogue has NEVER been this good and has been the biggest improvement along with the pace).
The whole "edge of your seat" moments was some shyt u rarely got from this show, the whole episode carried that vibe.
We might had a classic show overall if A Kang was always the show runner.
If she was the show Runner during The Negan years, I’m almost positive we’d have seasons 7 & 8 in one season, and no bullshyt cliffhanger death at the end of 6
Season 7A - starting with the aftermath of Glenn’s death and ending with sasha’s death/battle of Alexandria
Season 7B - Starting with the assault of Sanctuary (with no dumbass “shoot the windows out” plan) and ending with Negan in a cell
Think how much time was wasted over those 2 seasons on introducing & recruiting the Trash heap people, then going against them, then recruiting them again, along with the pointless episodes of Rick scavenging weapons for them...they literally shouldn’t even exist, or Whole episodes dedicated to Eugene at the sanctuary or Tara at Oceanside. Carl would still be alive too (again, 100% Gimple) so that’s at least another couple episodes that were used centred around his death.
Fitting 7 & 8 into 1 season could EASILY be done with the amount of filler they had, top it all of with some competent writing and All Out War would of been the arc we all wanted instead of being universally seen as the worst period in the shows history
