Good setup episode, but a little boring if I'm being honest.
Side note: Swagnar's head tat game gets better every season.

Rollo stays turning his back on Ragnar . He at least could have heard them out and kept the crew that was loyal to him, his buddy didn't have to warn him about the possible mutiny. The whole scene with his plain looking Paris wife 
. Rollo wasn't even trying to hit on his wedding night and when he went to sleep, she had the nerve to act upset 
. If you're not going to have a body, at least have a pretty face like Ragnar's wife.
I see Ragnar already peeping that Asian slave that came back from Paris like

I was thinking about that during the scene. I'm sure back in the day fathers were the furthest thing from actually being fathers. Knock up your girl. Then leave for month/year to go fight some battle in a far off land. If you survive the battle it would take months to travel all the way back home. Come home see your seed and your girl for the first time in a long time. Get her pregnant again and head back out to conquer another land or fight a battle somewhere else.
As for the episode. It was good. Set up the show for a couple different story lines. Who is going to be the main character when Swagnar is gone?

Bjorn was the most successful out of all of them making it all the way to Egypt but Ivar was the one who avenged his father...
I've heard it's Bjorn. As a fan of the show does Bjorn excite anyone? Does he have the swag that Ragnar has? Crazy thing is they technically could keep the show going for some time with Ragnar's kids eventually becoming the main characters.
