This is a ridiculous statement especially if you know the history of Ivar the Boneless...

The show will be fine without Swagnar and to be honest we have been without him for nearly two seasons now...Dudes been sad depressed junkie since Floki put the blade in Athelstan...I was really getting tired of seeing him like that...

Not all his sons are wack, Bjorn and young Ivar can easily hold it down when they go back to England for revenge...

You know Floki is going to get extra demonic when he hears about what they did to Swagnar...

Plus we still got Rollo and Lagertha...

The show will be fine...

Yea I'm on ep 10 of season 4 part 2 and Ragnar lost the plot back in season 3..losing that battle to Rollo in Paris sealed the deal..

It was terrible seeing breh go off the rails...

Reason they killed Ragnar so early they prob couldn't afford his wages

I just binge watched this up to the season 4 finale. I'd been waiting all season for Ivar to kill Sigurd. Now I just need a brutal death for King Harold. I read somewhere the show went downhill after this season. I'm only interested in Ivar and Lagertha, with Floki leaving after Helga's death. I'm hoping that simp King Harald gets a brutal death in season 5 like Jarl and Horik and I'll be good.

I stayed for the same thing. The problems are that they try to break Lagertha character and Ivar storylines are bad. It's a very long end.
