Read the lethal protector arc. Eddie and peter made a truce but only if Eddie left town. So he moved to San Francisco and handled business there. That’s how they’ll do the movie

No way the cgi is finished. Hardy just wrapped shooting a week ago or two weeks ago. This is just an announcement trailer to set the mood and the tone and some of the stakes.
