My expectations were super low going in because I heard it was trash.
Not a single dull moment in the entire movie. And you know that MCU crossover is going to be insane

Watched this a few days ago but forgot to comment.
shyt was aight. Wasn't bad or anything but could've been better. The script kinda sucked though and Eddie Brock came off like a fukking moron.

Completely different storyline than comics
The blu ra torrents are out and about..I'll dl this tonight.
I'm not even a comic head like that, but no shyt it'd be different from the comics...from the jumpoff it'd be different since its independent of spidey...and we all know the general spidey/venom connection.

venom been an anti-hero at times. Even the 90's cartoon had an arc where he was the good guy
eh... not really. its based on a combination of Lethal Protector and Planet of the Symbiotes.
I said earlier in the thread they actually did a pretty good job combining elements from those stories.
One thing I liked alot was venom's voice talking in Eddy Brock's head, those small parts were very enjoyable
