I was hoping Woody Harrelson would have pulled off another scene like this or maybe a complete rehash of this scene, well we kind of got it. That said I'm looking forward to the sequel.

I did, but that doesn't mean they have to put out carnage so soon. They can develop kasedy in V2, then at the end have him get the carnage symboite, then have V3 carnage.
One stinger scene into full movie is almost as bad as craming all that shyt into 1 movie.
You'd think Sony would take notes from the MCU and properly build that shyt up.
I just don't see them building Kasady up for an entire movie. MCU has convinced too many mufukkaz that you need to build up to a big baddie. Every movie doesn't have to do this. And I don't want to see a whole movie of building up Cletus to become Carnage at the very end. I'm pretty confident most don't want to sit thru that.

Ironically, that's one of the problems with villains of the MCU. Most of them are trash except the one they've actually built up to (Thanos)

i see where you coming from, and agree you don't necessarily have to build to one, but it depends on the villain. Someone like Venom or carnage (especially venom) would have benefited from a build up...someone like Doom would also benefit from a build up. On the other hand, someone like Mystrio was great as is, and Doc Ock.

Except the Spidey Villains from the movies Marvel Studios produced for Sony....... weird and ironic ain't it.
Doom definitely needs a buildup, but nowhere near the length of what they did with Thanos. Too many characters and stories at their disposal. a 2 movie buildup with Doom would be fine. I wish they did this with the Mandarin in Iron Man but we not gonna mention that debacle.
