This is minor quibble on my end, but I'm a bit upset that none of the posters have paid tribute to the Maximum Carnage videogame for the SNES/Genesis:

Just looking at that gives me PTSD on how difficult that game was to beat.

For like a year me and my cousin took turns trying to beat this game. Only me was able to reach Carnage once. I beat him with like 2 percent energy left and no lives left. Only for that motherfukker to come back alive and kill me

Was done with the game after that but it's a good game. just hard. The soundtrack is piff

Would love to see a Spiderman movie with that kind of music to it

The farthest I recall ever getting in this game was the part where you fight Demigoblin and that's because Doppelganger and Shriek sorry asses jump in on the fight at some point. They had the cheapest moves... Doppelganger would hit you with the superman punch while you're getting busy on Shriek and Shriek would blast up in the air and hit you with a beam when you were whooping her ass.

Game was piff.. I never beat it or separation anxiety tho but technically, this movie isn’t based on the Maximum Carnage story right?

but on a side note, damn were those 2 games difficult. That’s 1 of the games I used to stay yellin out “they cheatin!”

Gonna hold off going to theaters and watch 007 the following week inlieu.



Fukkin' marvel for making this under 2 hours. Character development, especially someone as intricate and complex like Cassidy... needs time to tell his story.



Shame. Didn't enjoy the first one enough so the sequel will be a home and chill watch kinda jawnt.

I'm happy that this thread became a mini Maximum Carnage therapy thread for all of us who couldn't beat it or had trouble. Now we watch YouTube videos with some shmuck getting through the game with no problem and no damage like that shyt was easy. These kids will never know.

And that commercial that Dr. Omega posted was . I always thought it was cool seeing it air during Spider-man: TAS.
