Make It Hot-ta
that team last year was so much more talented than this one, but this team just had a different kinda heart, man. and that starts at the top from their leader. the last 4 games of this tourney roy has held teams that were more scrappy (arkansas), talented (kentucky), athletic (oregon), bigger (zags) to 5 minute scoring droughts down the stretch. the last two games in particular fts (the ones they made and we've missed) made the games much closer than they shoulda been. 3 years ago mofos swore because we didnt get down with the one and done culture we were going to be outta the championship picture for the foreseeable future. whatever, i'll roll with good talent that i know is gonna develop to contend every 3-4 years. roy is consistent as fuk. from the loss to wisconsin 2 years ago, to the championship game the last two, he's proved to be a great teacher. meanwhile, rat face be getting kicked out on opening weekend w/ top 5 picks and it dont matter? lmao. get this ghost in a shell ass rodent outta here.I was just telling my co-worker this. There are great coaches, great players, etc that have never been to a Final Four, let alone two. For Roy to lose two players with jerseys in the rafters and get this cast of characters back and win is mind boggling. Listening to that team down the road whine all year about injuries, etc made me appreciate how the narrative outta Chapel Hill was never about not having Theo for TWO stretches of the season and losing our opening night starting shooting guard for the season. It was never about relying on a preferred walk on for major minutes while others acted like relying on a former 5 star Burger Boy wasn't good enough to succeed. This team just went out there and got it done. One goal all season and accomplished it. I don't want to hear anymore about how having "one and done" players is the measurement of a coach or a program. All the negative recruiting UNC has had to endure and all the supposed accomplishments of that squad down the road, we're still the best program in college. Roy will never have the impact socially or may never be as innovative as Dean was/is, but its a testament that Roy has now become more accomplished than Dean. So fukking underrated. And stayed true to himself the entire way. He didn't sell his soul to the AAU culture like, once again, that bum ass squad down the road did. In an era of isolated entertainment and lack of connection with others, it's refreshing to see a program rooted in family, togetherness, and "old fashioned" principles prevail. I'm done with my emotional spewing.........fukk Dook!
stop being scared of niggs youve never seen play against comparable talent in a fukkin system.
