Carolina fans have gotten so pessimistic lately. It almost sounds like yall looking for reasons to whine. So if RJ and Caleb stays, all the other guards should transfer?!?! Have yall ever played sports before? The competition in practice is way more important than games as far as team building and development. So now, if you're not one of the 5 people that start on GameDay, you should transfer?? Plus, UNC a blue blood. If they do go, there would be a line of players ready to take their place. I refuse to act like returning proven players like RJ and Caleb is a detriment because we wanna keep the back up point guard that refuses to shoot the ball from transferring. Your hate is displaced.
Have you watched this team play for the last 4 years at all? One good month in 4 years bruh. RJ and Love will play 38 minutes a game. Have you watched the team since Hibert took over? If you're not one of the 5 people who start for Hubert Davis, you don't get on the court.

The backup PG that refuses to shoot but gets after it on the defensive end? Love and RJ could learn a thing or two from Trimble.

I understand everything you're saying. But the doom and gloom narrative seems to be the only narrative being pushed. Pitino gets hired at St. John's and all of a sudden "we about to lose Ian Jackson". It's the nature of the beast in college bball in 2023. Players that you want to stay will leave, and players that weren't on your radar at other schools will probably be on the squad the next season.

It also seems like people just want to criticize Hubert's use of the bench, just for the sake of criticizing. All those guys that just transferred shot a combined 28% from 3. Trimble is a heck of an athlete and he plays hard, but teams literally just ignored him on the perimeter and continued to clog the lane on Mando. What could Love and RJ learn about that when the glaring issue on this team was perimeter shooting? I get it, the team played poorly and was poorly constructed by Roy (creating a log jam of personnel in the paint with Garrison, Kessler, Sharpe, and Mando without recruiting good shooters on the perimeter). This off-season seems like an "addition by subtraction" scenario where Hubert can actually design the team to his liking instead of going to battle with the pieces left to him by Roy, or with kids that don't fit the true mold of his vision.

Puff, Styles, and Nickel all leaving. Never was impressed by Puff and didn't get to see enough of the other two to really form an opinion.

Also about to lose our second #1 high school player to a 3rd rate school in the past year.

Next couple years looking rough fellas

GG said the same thing fam. Give it time.

And to your last point, his use of the bench does suck. You can't judge those guys on game action because they would play a minute here and there and then might not play the next 3 games. There was zero rhyme or reason to his substitution patterns.
