Roy said that Lawson was the perfect point guard for his system, and we don't win the NC without him. I remember we struggled those games he was out with that toe injury.

That LSU second round game wss torture that year. I still remember that crossover Ty put on dude and it wss then I knew we were gonna win the game because Ty was back.

Still high on the team over the last week and a half. The way that they’ve changed the trajectory of the season since the game against Pitt is special. The guys have shown a lot of heart.

we are through the meat of it. louisville and cuse are fringe tourney teams that we have on the road. miami is a bubble team without one of their best players and we get them at home on senior night. obviously at duke is tough but we should go 2-2 at absolute worst. we'll be favored in every game by 4-5+ points except duke. really should go 3-1 but i will take 2-2

also remember the schedule is super spaced out for the rest of the year. louisville saturday, cuse next wednesday and then off until the following tuesday for miami. gives our guys time to rest

what? literally nothing i said in that post is inaccurate

louisville is an 8 seed that has lost 4 of their last 6. cuse is the 3rd team in lunardi's first four out. miami is a 6 but they arent that good of a team without brown and we get them on senior night for one of our most decorated classes in school history. the schedule is literally spaced out for the rest of the year

at duke is the only game that we'll be underdogs in. going 1-3 in the last four would be a massive letdown.

Carolina dropping a 100 in Hansborough Indoor stadium in '09 probably my favorite game in the rivalry. Next to that '98 game with Vince Carter missing the off the back board dunk. Not winning the chip in '98 still burns.

I felt like Dean would have one at least one more chip with the squad he gifted Gutheridge in '97 and '98. I understand he wanted more time with his family so I can't really complain I did remember hearing about UNC approaching Roy to take over after Dean retired but Roy turned them down.

Yeah Roy was still in love with Kansas at the time. Even when he turned us down after Gut retired, Gut still had beef with him and wouldn't speak to him after we wound up getting stuck with Doherty.

Your problem is that you took my comment too seriously. It wasn’t that deep for you to be writing multi-paragraphed breakdowns of the schedule.

That would be a mistake because he’s nowhere near ready for the league, and I don’t see a team taking him in the first round anyway. He’s not even ready to be a starting college point guard right now. He definitely needs at least one more year in school and maybe 2. I just hope he’s not being railroaded.

that alphabetical lineup bit us in the ass. believe it was shammond's turn to rotate to the bench and it threw his rhythm off and he never got going against utah

It really looks like they are gelling with the small ball lineup. Not having two traditional bugs is opening up driving lanes for Theo and Joel, plus having shooters all over the floor is just crazy. I really think we can win out or at the worst, go 12-6 In ACC play.
