A Carolina team hasn't done that since 1980 (win 3 games in 5 days). If we can go 3-1 over our final four, a 2 seed is definitely possible.

would kill to get a 2 seed and get the charlotte placement.

for now just focused on the double bye. 11-7 definitely does it. split the road games, beat miami and let the chips fall where they might at cameron. 11-7 would be incredible

Yea, the unbalanced schedule this year did UNC no favors. Last year we got UVA , Louisville and alot of top tier ACC teams at home. I remember a lot of Dookies bytching about it.

If UNC does well I can see the committee finding a way to land them in Charlotte. I hope that is the case.

we are through the meat of it. louisville and cuse are fringe tourney teams that we have on the road. miami is a bubble team without one of their best players and we get them at home on senior night. obviously at duke is tough but we should go 2-2 at absolute worst. we'll be favored in every game by 4-5+ points except duke. really should go 3-1 but i will take 2-2

also remember the schedule is super spaced out for the rest of the year. louisville saturday, cuse next wednesday and then off until the following tuesday for miami. gives our guys time to rest

Probably one of the most enjoyable seasons that didn't end in a chip... Niiggas thought we wouldn't even make the tournament because of everyone we lost from 05. State came into the season talking much noise, got that behind swept in blowouts in Chapel Hill and Raleigh... Then the win at Kentucky....

Carolina dropping a 100 in Hansborough Indoor stadium in '09 probably my favorite game in the rivalry. Next to that '98 game with Vince Carter missing the off the back board dunk. Not winning the chip in '98 still burns.

Lawson went off that game. It's amazing that Hansborough went 4-0 at Dook.

People always look at that era as the Hansbrough years and rightfully so as the modern UNC GOAT, but I'll always remember the 3 years of Lawson more fondly.

Felt damn near like guaranteed victory as long as he was on the court. The only question was how much we'd win by

Jr year when he was shooting 47% from deep. Ellington and Danny flanking him

Roy said that Lawson was the perfect point guard for his system, and we don't win the NC without him. I remember we struggled those games he was out with that toe injury.
