Also wanna add how disappointing that crowd was. Not sure how to fix it but the crowd support at the Dean Dome is a big problem.

for one the students are lame

i know if i was a kid at unc i would be there every game. a ton of kids who aren't big unc fans and just treat it as a social event

also the dome is too big. it's also awful for big games. the lack of luxury boxes and multiple concourses is brutal. that place gets too packed for big games

it's time for a new stadium or massive renovations. also students need to be put on the floor and let the old fogies get the luxury boxes. the students who voted not to raise tuition by $100 when the dome was being built fukked us over.

no place is better for the big games but the dome sucks for the other ones

never will happen bc of money but goddamn going back to carmichael would be awesome. that place would rock. the 2010 nit game against william and mary was amazing

regardless, i find it to be absolutely inexcusable that we don't play 1 or 2 games at carmichael every year. play the state game there or something. we can overcome a 50% reduction in gate receipts for one single game

I was surprised by how "prepared" this team looked. Didn't look sloppy, most defensive rotations were crisp, and the offense didn't get bogged down with arguably our 2 best shooters on the bench. Luke looks great. Brooks plays at a veteran style pace. His potential down the line is crazy. Theo has to attack more and stop settling for threes. Funny how Manley the one that didn't complete his preseason conditioning requirements, but Huffman the one that looks outta shape. Liked what I saw outta Manley except for the excessive acting/flopping on a couple plays. Felton is nice. I didn't see Roy blow up and have a bunch of "teaching" moments during the game so it seems like the team is retaining what they're learning in practice. Good start to the season.

cam tore his meniscus in practice on monday

doesnt look like he needs a full repair so fingers crossed...he should be back in 4-6 weeks. on track to not miss any conference play

still sucks that he wont be able to get acclimated during non-con. more time for kenny and b rob tho (although b rob is out tonight with a sprained shoulder)

I know we lost to Miami and we’re only playing Western, but this looks like a completely different team with Elliot at QB.

Makes me wonder how many more games we could’ve won if he had been playing all season.
