The past few years some 2nd round picks have gotten guaranteed deals. Hopefully he'll be the next one because I don't see who take him in the first round.

Simply a dumb move. I don't want to continue to beat a dead horse but it obviously would have benefitted him in every which way to come back. There must be something else to this (maybe he doesnt like playing for Roy, ect). Regardless, I hope he represents us good in the league.
