Why bother? DC was fukking Jones up in the clinch in their fight and Rumble is bigger and probably stronger. I would have to most conservative gameplan if I am Jones. Force Rumble to chase him around until hes tired and level change

DC was able to land uppercuts/overhands in the clinch early. Jones wore him down with body shots and then dominated him up with clinch/cage work. He won't bully Rumble early. Hes best bet is to use the same strategy
The second round was the only time cormier did that, but he won that round in all facets, in every other round when they clinched jones got the better of him
It's better to get hit with punches in the clinch where on the inside you can't generate full power, that's why jones could take the shots
jones only been rocked by Machida and gus, I guarantee if fought gus again he would dirty box him like he did glover
