My points regarding Cerrone:

- Elite fighter
- Very solid resume
- Has not mailed it in.
That makes me a dikk rider? :mindblown::pachaha:

I never argued these two points. I clearly said
I take nothing away from his record, he's winning fights, he's entertaining, but he's never truly beaten anyone great and Pettis is gonna ktfo him again
Now we might have different opinions on whos great. I dont consider a unproven Alvarez who hasnt won 1 fight yet in the UFC "great" I dont consider Miles Jury who's biggest win is a punch drunk Diego Sanchez,
"great' they might be good.
I consider Bendo, Dos Anjos, Pettis, Diaz "great" and Cowboys lost to every one of them.

He's elite because he's clearly not a can, he always climbs up to the top and then he always loses when he gets there. IMO he's a gatekeeper. Take that how you want fanboy

He has :yeshrug:

Doesnt mean his resume aint solid. But I need to see him decisively defeat one of the guys who have beaten his ass before I crown him or consider him a threat to Pettis

So you can be an elite fighter & have a solid resume by just crushing cans :ohhh:

Tyson won the title at 20

Tyson knocked out Holmes

Tyson beat spinnks

Tyson cleared the division
Larry Holmes was 38 fukking yrs old at the time and had been out of boxing for almost 2 years when they fought
I could give you Spinks but his best win was probably decisioning a oldass Larry Holmes!
Tyson cleared the division but the heavyweight division was even worse at that time then it is now :yeshrug:
Then Tyson lost to Buster and every other great boxer he faced(Lewis, Holyfield)
Now I'm not ignoring what Tyson was going through at the time of those fights, I'm just saying the majority of his resume is knocking out cans.

Cerrones clearing out the division right now but he hasnt beat the elite of the division yet. He has losses against every one of the other great fighters in his division, decisive losses.

Nobody before or after tyson has knocked out Holmes.

He cleared the division with ease, never been done like that and won't be done like that for a long time.

Tyson was 36 against lewis and Holmes was the same age when tyson kicked his ass.

Bruh i'm not gonna argue with you about Tyson being a great fighter, Tyson is my favorite heavyweight of all time.
We're talking about records though. He ducked Lewis, got knocked out by Buster, and couldnt hang with Holyfield.

If your best win is a 38 yr old Larry Holmes what does that say about your resume?

As far as clearing out the division with ease, Wlad did that a long time ago

He was knocked out twice before he turned into super wlad in his early 30's. Apart from ali, not too many heavyweights have 5 atg's on there resume
