:russ: What drug are you using breh, must be some strong shyt

if Aldo can't take him down and dominate him on the ground, he's gonna lose

his hands are way better than any of them dudes in the UFC, Melendez knows that's why was saying things he was sayings, fighters hate out of envy and jealousy, just like how they all said DC was gonna beat jones

If you knew anything about boxing you will know conor is finishing these dudes so easy, the straight left that dropped, look at conor's feet

he puts his entire body into the punch, Aldo and the mma guys do all upper body, if Aldo threw the straight that tagged mendez at the end of that round like how conor throws his straight left Mendes would've been sleep

good to see larkin do his thing. he's from my hometown. dude was a legend around the city in high school. every month you'd hear stories about lorenz knockin somebody out. the most popular one was when some football players from our school jumped one of his homies. he came to our school after a game and called out the whole football team in the parking lot. nobody wanted to step up....one cat was from compton....he went up to his ride and said fukk compton. dude got out the ride....they squared up....other dude threw some wild punches, lorenz moved out the way came back with a shot right on the temple...homie's soul completely left his body....fell face first on the pavement...face skidded all over that shyt. lorenz runnin around screaming "who else wanna get knocked out".....that football player was the star running back and went on to play D1 at idaho state. when I heard I was laughin my ass off. dude needed that ass whoopin....he stayed pickin on weak kids in class. after that, he was a whole new person:pachaha:......crazy too, cause lorenz is mad humble and down to earth....never instigated a fight for no reason. hopin he can get his career back on track.

It's going to be hard for McGregor to put anything behind his punches when his legs are raw and tender from a few of Aldo's kicks.

McGregor does have good hands, but MMA is not boxing, and there are tradeoffs that are made stylistically and tactically. What McGregor has shown won't be enough. Mendes would whoop this dude and Aldo is going to murk him, sorry, but that's what it is breh. The standup will be very interesting though because of how smoothly McGregor moves, but we're yet to see him on his heels. How does he fight when someone pressures him? Aldo isn't going to stand around and get backed up like these other dudes have been.

what do you mean by no defense, he didn't take any damage

mcgregor has the best hands in mma, it's almost pitiful how much better he is at punching, Aldo doesn't even use his lower body when he punches

he can take them leg kicks and land that straight left, mendes rocked aldo with some shots that were all upper body, conor will hurt him if he connects and finish him

Aldo's best bet is to wrestling him the entire fight and try to keep him on the ground, if he can't do that he will lose

I never said he was hurt. But he has no head movement whatsoever. He eats every punch with his chin. And his chin is good. But that gameplan will not be wise five rounds with Aldo. I agree he probably is the best striker in the division. The way he strikes off angles and the variety is very impressive. But he has way to many defensive holes that are exploitable against a seasoned fighter like Aldo

Mcgregor practically has no defense. Striking or grappling. Aldo would crush him. A few leg kicks would stop that spinning wheel kicks cold. And Siver landed some nice counters when Connor was wailing on him against the cage. Can't do that against Aldo. I'm sure he wouldn't fight cocky against Aldo but still, I don't see him winning.
Edgar look like he wants to commit that on this post show tho :lolbron:

connor's "defense" looks pretty similar to what anderson's was. reflexes, head movement/lateral movement, getting in and out at the just the right range...and like anderson, even when he gets tagged, he eats it like it's nothing.

he definitely has a stance that's wide open for aldo to feast on with leg kicks though. but unless he's a complete retard and leaves himself wide open to eating those kicks, i think connor's gonna give him a good fight. like him or not, mcgregor's movement, distance, speed and skill-set is a challenge for anybody. even jose.

more than anything though, i think aldo's experience wins out. he's not intimidated by the guy, he's fought better opponents than connor has, he's faced more adversity, he's been through tough 5 round fights to keep his belt...that dude put serious work in to be where he's at. and since i'm thinking about it, jose's wrestling could be pretty damn effective against connor too.

He avoided shots pretty easily, he got hit with some glancing blows, he never got tagged
Aldo don't got head movement either, neither does 90 percent of MMA, we have to see him actually need defense to see that

Mendes hit him with too many shots and his striking is pedestrian compared to conors

all Im saying is if he is smart he will take him dow

Aldo has gotten tagged and rocked by lesser strickers he needs to avoid the stand up

the leg kicks will come into factor if the fight goes five rounds, but aldo has kicked guys in the legs and not have stoppages, so it sounds kind of far fetch to me
mma fighters in general don't check leg kicks, I didn't see one guy heck leg kick in any of the fights tonight

full mount like nothing come on you don't need a nose to smell bullshyt
Who leans back like they got rocked from a punch to the chest? Anyways all is well and the only money fight in the div is on everyone wins
Huh...this is dominant and all, but for some reason, I'm not getting the same vibes from McGregor that I got when Weidman ran through Mark Munoz.

I actually believed that Weidman could pose a realistic threat to Silva after that fight. Here, all I can think is, "McGregor's probably gonna get his ass kicked by Aldo when they fight." I can't really explain it.
Dont tell anyone but if you look at the fight closely mcgregor gassed he was just lucky he was against a plodding target at a reach disadvantage

No he didn't he got hit with some clean shots in the pocket. Esp at the end of the first round. I've also seen him get tagged by Brimage and Poirer too. I should have clarified that head movement statement. Aldo doesn't move his head but his excellent defensively. He doesn't walk towards him opponent hands down tho. Hes excellent at throwing and covering up or circling. It will be interesting on the feet. Both are great counter strikers with serious power. I think Aldo is a more seasoned, well rounded fighter who will exploit Connor's weaknesses better then vice versa

Who are these "lesser strikers" who have tagged and rocked Aldo? Mendes has developed his striking by leaps and bounds. Who else did you have in mind, Hominick? Hominick was known for his boxing skill and to my recollection, didn't "rock" Aldo by any means. Only person to have him in trouble for real has been Mendes in their last fight.

It doesn't take too many heavy leg kicks to take a lot out of someone's movement and strength in their legs.
