Lot of brazillian Muay Thai fighters are generally stationary dudes. Anderson and Machida are rare users of footwork. It cost Barao tonight. Dillishaw looked like dominck Cruz if cruz committed to any of his strikes

Muay Thai fighters in general are pretty stationary and get in the habit of fighting by standing in front of each other checking one another's kicks.

This is why you learn boxing first :scheme:

Just an off night. He still would beat TJ 9/10. Just needs to cut weight better. Ribs should not be showing like that on weigh in

I don't think he would. I'm a big believer in TJ. I think they'd split them down the middle. I think TJ is going to be champ for a minute. He'll be tough to beat over 5 rounds. Bang leaving the team will be tough for him since he and Chad are the two closest with him. Martin Kampmann is going to be their new striking coach. We'll see how that goes.

Barao said this was his easiest weight cut, and he always looks terrible at the weigh ins.

9 times out of 10? Come on breh. Barao got thoroughly dominated from the beginning of the fight till the end. Dillashaw deserves some respect. It wasn't 'Barao had an off night' 'Barao wasn't at his best', it was 'Dillashaw looked that good' imo This was the same dominant Barao, he just came across a better fighter tonight

Get the fukk outta here. Barao got fukking outclassed out there in every single position.

I knew TJ was being undersold in this fight. That boy looked incredible against Easton and has looked like an absolute monster since Bang became his coach.

Amazing performance by TJ.

I haven't watched any of his last 3 fights...did he always fight like this or was this new? He seemed to follow Dom Cruz's style to a tee.
The first fight he showed that style was the Easton fight in January. People forget he only had 12 fights before tonight and is still trying to really find his style. I think he's got it now though.

Machida is all about footwork.
