I see a lot of what he's saying going on right here on The Coli.
I always said Pac wasn't the nicca who was supposed to rise to the top of the game.I don't think they're comfortable with him being hip hops bisggest & greatest icon.
That's what they do.They deconstruct/water down your image to fit something they're more comfortable with.
We'll have to wait & see.....Gonna be interesting
foh cacs love biggie and his pop hitswhite casual hip hop fan
I don't even understand this
its you makes no fukking sense
I remember in early very early 2000's allhiphop.com back when at the time was like the Bible of the Internet kinda like the way the source magazine was to the 90s
anyway the one of the biggest discussions back then was Pac and his Fanbase and it kinda came to the conclusion that casual white fans loved Pac more than any other rapper besides the obvious Eminem and until 50 came out -pac,em,50 was the trifecta of white casual hip hop fan
shyt I remember this white dude I work when way back in the days in the airport dude was the biggest pac stan imaginable he put all sorts of pics of pac in his locker, used to walk around the terminals reciting his lyrics wore bandannas etc. etc. bunch of us 1 night went to hang out drinking/smoking at billiards we invited him and the convo most bytches & hip hop, we asked him what else do u listen too besides your man and predictably he hated anybody who his man hated biggie Jay z nas etc. and I remember one cat said to him what about wu -they never had beef with him and he replied 'welllll.... im not too familiar with them - we all laughed and said can you name all the members he only could meth dirty and the other one I can't remember what right then and there I knew or felt the white pac stan is bascially niche hip-hop fan
so I really don't understand how a decade plus later these same whites wanna deconstruct the image of him and basically remove him from being illegal to put someone that looks like them in his space I'm not sure about that -sounds like a major reach
foh cacs love biggie and his pop hits
yo, the actress (grace gibson) playin' faith is lynn whitfield's daughter
shyt her mama was the one though
It's not the common whites, it's the white folks in power. The sheep will eat anything up.Whether they're black, white, yellow, red green purple....
That's what CAC's do.They love taking a fiery, defiant black man, and watering him down after the fact.
If Billboard leaving Pac off the top 10 rappers of all times list isn't dismissive/deconstructive, I don't know what is.
They're having a hard time doing it because people love Pac so much. These CAC's in high places don't give a shyt about Pac.If they can make some money off him, they will.I agree with dude in the video when he said they're setting up Kendrick Lamar as a potential Pac replacement in the rankings. He's the perfect buffer to place between Pac and the infusion of "hipster" culuture in hip hop. He's supposed to be a return to "organic" hip hop, but it's a manufactured organic. That's why the hipster crowd is plastic to me.Speaking mainly on my experiences, they're the main crowd(along with 35+ yr old east coast niccaz) that'swhen it comes to Pac.
It just so happens that the hipster shyt is on the rise. And a lot of them muthafukkahs do think they have a superior "intellectual" understanding of hip hop.I work with a couple of cats like that. That element definitely wants Pac reduced/
As far as this film being a sabotage attempt, I can't say anything about that yet.Gotta see it first.Looking at that team of writers has me a lil tho.
