Respect to Leila, I get where she's coming from, however the film probably couldn't be exactly what she wanted and delve into her and Pac's relationship too much and their struggle as it would just make it too long. I do think that story should be told though, Pac's life and stories could ALSO be in a TV series and you could go in depth with a lot of ish from beggining to the end would include a lot of what Leila spoke about in that. But in a limited film it's difficult to have it to that extent, however I would personally have showed a bit, particularly the poetry ish and talking about and discussing books and philosophy, not for a huge amount of time but to establish the depth of the character and the other side to him, especially in earlier life, his thirst for knowledge and his interest and love of the arts. I think that would be dope, I don't think it would take much time if done right but would add some layers, I can understand Leila being a little upset if it's JUST her as introducing him to Shock or whatever. She was more than that, it would have been nice infact to see the poetry ish because she later helped put out a book of Pac's poetry with Afeni I believe, they could have mentioned that in the outro as 1 of several things in regards to Pac's legacy.
However Leila despite her personal disappointments and upset did say they didn't do a bad job, she even said she wanted to dislike it in a way but I don't think she did, therefore I imagine that's encouraging....
We will all have to personally see to judge though, I'mma see that asap.
