On timing, Can you explain to me when you think Trump should have been indicted? And can you explain the grand jury and indictment process in your answer?

He makes a legit point. SC should have been appointed in 2021. Is there a legit reason why he waited till November 2022 to appoint Jack Smith?

The trial would have taken place last year.

I think a 2021 SC appointment and investigation was unrealistic. He didn’t get confirmed until March 11, 2021. He realistically needed enough convictions/other evidence to justify the appointment. I think when the convictions started rolling in for J6 he should have done it then. But that’s still like April 2022 at the earliest.

Garland could've easily appointed a special counsel to oversee all federal investigations regarding Trump's crimes. Even if he appointed one in April 2021, he had several cases to choose from:

NY tax fraud(IRS)
Stormy payments
Mueller investigation
Inauguration fund fraud

That doesn't even include the other cases he was indicted on.

Trump wouldve been convicted for any number of crimes and broke by now. Yet here he is with zero convictions and he's close to being a legit threat to win the WH. SCOTUS isnt going to kick him off the ballot, judges aren't going to let his trials start so close to the election past summer. The only thing that stops Trump ATP is death. Which I hope that doesn't happen. These Democrats who thought they could just protect the institution instead of removing a clear threat get zero sympathy if Trump returns to office.

I see you didn’t name any actual crimes or cite to specific statutes. Just general allusions to investigations. And one of them appears to be a state crime.

All those have been investigated..I'm not going to play loophole Larry with you. Trump committed campaign finance fraud, tax fraud, obstruction of justice, etc. The problem is the people who run things are cowards and if Trump comes back I hope they get the worst version of him because they learned nothing from all his crimes and J6. The only way these people learn that Trump is a threat is if a few of them die and ATP it's :manny::hubie:. People warned these people to quit playing with this deranged psychopath and they want to learn the hard way.

Not a single statute cited. A political strategists interpretation of events. I have not seen anyone post an analysis from anyone who actually practices federal criminal law with a map for the actual prosecution and reference to case law and jury instructions. Just people yelling obstruction w/ vague assertions on how they think it works.

You didn’t. You posted a chart filled out by a political rep. The chart you posted is based on a reps interpretation of evidence. The chart you posted included no actual analysis.
