A Democrat could very well win the Governorship. It’s very likely. We have two Democratic senators - a black man and a Jew. That would have been unthinkable 10 years ago.

She may not and that's fine. We're on a board and we discuss hypotheticals all the time. But the idea that the RNC would not HEAVILY RECRUIT a DA that nailed Obama or Hillary or Biden is laughable.

We can run through scenarios but there is a difference between recruiting and actually having a legitimate shot at winning. Getting a guilty verdict on Trump alone is not going to give her a legit shot at winning a state wide election. Way more politics involved at that level.
I don’t think y’all understand Georgia demographics. A tough on crime DA who nailed Trump would absolutely have a great shot at governorship. Metro Atlanta runs the state and it’s heavily blue. She would just need to perform well in a few other places like Savannah, Macon and Columbus.
I don’t understand why y’all think this is far fetched when we have black and Jewish senators.
