Kemp is an outlier. He out performed Trump in 2020 and nothing since has eroded his support.

He’s been calling them out since the lead up to the 2020 election. Trump hasn’t like him since well before that and was public about it. Kemp got 2.1 million votes and won by 8 points. Trump got 2.4 and lost. He doesn’t need MAGA the way you think he does.
His GOP career in the state is very secure.

But did they get whooped in GA because that’s what we are talking about. MAGA wasn’t motivated to vote for him in 2020 and he won by 8. The fact he’s not moving against Willis also makes him more popular with moderates on both sides. Kemp is a very savvy politician and knows his wheelhouse is the state.
