It's not hard to see something like this happening again with a smarter attempt from a smarter president, and courts willing to play along. Clarence Thomas was clearly willing to play ball, the problem (for Trump) was that no one else on the court was. Seems pretty obvious the Federalist play here is to keep stacking courts with these unqualified extremists who are waiting for the next opportunity to help a Trump-like figure keep power.

Dunno man. There will inevitably be another republican president, who will appoint as many Federalist approved judges as he can, assuming republicans also control the senate at the time. The process isn't going to just be a four year window, they're gonna advance that ball as far and long as they can. Obviously the good news is they only had four years out of the last (soon-to-be) twelve years to do this. Two Obama terms and one Biden term. Hopefully he gets another four years to further progress things but more than likely dems lose the senate next year regardless.

Gonna be real curious to see what happens if Biden wins, republicans take the senate, and Clarence Thomas dies in 2025. Do we continue on with the bullshyt of hijacking seats or will Biden get to choose? 2025 won't be an election year, so by McConnell's reasoning the president should get the pick But...you never know.

Biden has appointed more federal judges than any other president including trump.. and their all young too.. Federalist only got the win on the scoutus for now… McConnell is finito out here… Thomas and Alito are more than likely the next 2 to go due to age and the bullshyt hanging over them now.. That’s why it’s important to run the table and elect Biden again

Dems def taking back the house… shyt they defacto got it now.. Dems will keep the slim senate majority
