Shouldn't Sookie have noticed that the coroner's thoughts were shut off to her? I would think the first thing she would do during a time of heightened security due to vampire attacks was to use her telepathy to make sure that the person at her door wasn't a vamp before even going to the door to look and see who was out there.

Can someone explain to me why Eric had this sense of loyalty and camaraderie towards Bill in Season 5?
From season 1-4 they could barely stand each other, and then in Season 5 Eric is on some "I'm not leaving without you bro" shyt. It's just weird. I don't mind it, but it seems to have happened for no real reason other than the writers suddenly want them to somewhat care about each other.
Did I miss something in Season 4?
