Its not like Jessica is 100 years older or anything. She just got turned wht 2 years ago accordsing to the show's timeline? So she wouldn't be demonstrably stronger than Tara and then add to it that Tara actually knows how to fight and its not that big a deal.

I would think that older is older. and the bigger the difference the greater the power. Jessica should be stronger then tara point blank. But I don't like how weak the were's and other super's are.

Don't really know but she should of been able to tap into something after 2 years that Tara doesn't know about yet.

But then again they damn near make the oldest ones the weakest.

Well Jessica knows how to glamour and Tara hasn't learned nor have been taught that ability, so there's that. But as far as actual strength goes, she shouldn't really be that much stronger anywayz and it's not like Jessica was a serious brawler or anything since being a vamp or in her previous life. As stated previously, Tara was actually about that life.

When Eric first met bill, bill tried to stake him. Eric said bill is strong for such a young vampire. One of the reasons he let him live. So age is NOT the only factor in strength and fighting ability

And they threw stabler in and killed him fast as a twist. You saw his name, they advertised him, you thought u knew what was going on. Then they surprised you. Lots of movies and shows pull this move. It's the opposite of when 4 main characters go looking for a monster. And they bring along no name guy #1. U know he's dead

Good points, though the flaw in this is that Jessica still has had plenty of human blood by being with Hoyt for a year and change or however long they were together and she's gotten down a few times on humans before/after him as well. Tara only just very recently was created and still has only feed like 2 or 3 times. But the rest of what you said in regards to fighting ability and stuff is on point and what others have said before as well.

Steve Newlin was turned longer than Tara and he was mad weak against Jessica

They def gave tara like +50 Strength and +100 Stamina buff
