Wednesday Stage the day after the TT could be where Vinegegaard wins the Tour. Pogacar only real weakness is climbing in high attitude going over 2k and hot weather. The weather forecast for Wednesday finish is 30C and thunderstorms.

It's probably encouraging that Vingegaard has been able to stay on Pocagar's wheel in just about all these stages.

I just wonder if Vingegaard runs out of steam. Adam Yates continues to outperform Sepp Kuss. Kuss got hurt today. And Wout Van Aert hasn't shown that top gear that he did last year.

So who helps Vingegaard in this final week? He's got to do it alone?

:francis:

It just looks to me like Vingegaard is hanging around as best he can until Pogacar eventually powers through.

Let's say Pogacar wasn't held back by those motorbikes yesterday. If he got the yellow jersey then, do you think he'd lose in the remaining stages? I doubt it.

TT is is on Tuesday and its 22km but the last 2.5km is uphill at 9.4% average gradient finish. Vinegegaard can TT not as good as Pogacar but as its a climb that will suit him.

Thursday will be a rest day for the GC after Wednesdays stage. Sprint day probably chasing the breakaway until catching them with 10-20km to go.

Friday looks like it will be a breakaway stage win looks ideal for the classics specialists. Then again Pogacar is now a Classics specialist lol. But this is the last chance for the likes of MVDP Wout Pidcock of getting a stage win.

Sat is a long up and down day but nothing higher than 1200m

Ridiculousness lol
i don't mind him flying on climbs but to output more power on descents and flats than dudes like Kung, Cavagna or Van Aert is crazy. Man is 60kg wet :pachaha:
