haley will get chosen as the VP in 2024, but shes not actually winning the primary. the republican primary voters will never actually vote for her

If independents and republicans are sexist pigs (reasoning for hillary losing)..why would they support haley? It doesnt add up. On top of that shes not an inspiring campaigner.

It makes me wonder if Kasich was president and not Trump, would the democrats even be considering a female VP right now? Probably not.

Here's the thing. Hillary vs. Kasich is a 35-40 state loss for Hillary. Instead of the Trump presidency, we have 4 years of questions about if the United States is or ever will be ready for a female candidate at all. Sometime late last year, DNC decides middle America needs to be won back, and that won't be done through a careerist who doesn't have kids or neglects them.

I think the establishment strikes back. I think GPB has a shot because a large portion of Trump's voters will be dead or pushed out of the republican party. Contrary to popular belief, dc insiders are aware that they are bad for business.

She won’t get Trump’s base over a more authoritarian a$$hole like Cotton in a primary. Checking off boxes and getting establishment cosigns and all that only matters in the Democratic primary. Repub primary voters don’t want a nice minority lady who can pass for white and took down confederate flags. They want someone who mirrors the contempt they have in their hearts

I mean Nimrata Randhawa did hold office in South KKKarolina for more than a decade. I think you're overestimating the minority factor and underestimating just how malleable Republican voters are. One minute they're trying to colonize the world, the next their quoting Washington's Farewell Address on non-interventionism. More than anything Republican voters just care about holding power. If she gets Trump's blessing and looks formidable, that will be enough for his base to get behind her.

i said it that way for the shock value.... my real point is tom cotton doesn't seem to be a reactionary, therefore he will be flagged as a rino or liberal by far right loons....

i wish i could find the video, because it articulates my point better than i can, but part of trump's appeal is that he is reactionary.... conservatives have spent the last four or five decades being gaslighted and told the end of the country is near... spending is way out of control, taxes are way out of control, immigration is way out of control... then they're told to just calmly vote for mitt romney and all will be okay... that doesn't work for them... trump came through with urgency, "BUILD A WALL", "ROUND THEM ALL UP AND DEPORT THEM"... while to normal people, these ideas seemed radical and unrealistic, to someone who is told the house is on fire, it sounds reasonable....

my point is if tom cotton is going to have a rational presentation, he is not going to win that audience over... they want a loon... think palin, think trump... sure, they want someone more effective, but they definitely want the crazy part...
