She won’t get Trump’s base over a more authoritarian a$$hole like Cotton in a primary. Checking off boxes and getting establishment cosigns and all that only matters in the Democratic primary. Repub primary voters don’t want a nice minority lady who can pass for white and took down confederate flags. They want someone who mirrors the contempt they have in their hearts

I agree. They want an Adolf Hitler that is Americanized, young, and (somewhat) intelligent. Something that Trump isn't outside of the Americanized part.

i said it that way for the shock value.... my real point is tom cotton doesn't seem to be a reactionary, therefore he will be flagged as a rino or liberal by far right loons....
i wish i could find the video, because it articulates my point better than i can, but part of trump's appeal is that he is reactionary.... conservatives have spent the last four or five decades being gaslighted and told the end of the country is near... spending is way out of control, taxes are way out of control, immigration is way out of control... then they're told to just calmly vote for mitt romney and all will be okay... that doesn't work for them... trump came through with urgency, "BUILD A WALL", "ROUND THEM ALL UP AND DEPORT THEM"... while to normal people, these ideas seemed radical and unrealistic, to someone who is told the house is on fire, it sounds reasonable....
my point is if tom cotton is going to have a rational presentation, he is not going to win that audience over... they want a loon... think palin, think trump... sure, they want someone more effective, but they definitely want the crazy part...

Depends how badly Trump does with women in 2020. Given her credentials of not being a complete and utter idiot along with being a Governor in a conservative state and working for the Trump administration, she's probably got the edge. Howley is a blowhard opportunist who decries the elites yet went to Stanford & Yale and has never finished out a term in any office he's held. Also, he's up for reelection in 2024, and if Dems put up a candidate that isn't Clinton-lite like McCaskill, repubs could risk losing that seat; also if amazingly enough Dems recapture the senate this year his seat becomes more important. Cotton seems like he has a similar personality that you would find a dead squirrel having.

They won't, republican party elites might try to push for her, but gop voters aren't gonna go for that and she'll be thrown in the bushes unless she appeals to them.
She wont top 20% but then will be seen as a leading vp candidate. Nothing more, nothing less. She wont touch the presidency unless shes a popular VP for 8 years and runs after.
