I think new players will still enjoy the game. The end game is the problem.
1.2 looks like its going to be a big improvement.
All of the changes resolve the majority of complaints.
Pve expansion = more to do outside of the dz
DZ changes = loot tables will now make it worth going into the dz youre rewarded for going in the higher (more dangerous) areas of the DZ
DZ brackets will be more granular now the people with DZ levels below 200 wont have to worry about better geared rogues
Bosses loot tables are being adjusted. So they drop better shyt.
Pretty much its going to rebalance the game.
Hopefully it works, the really big thing for me is, time investment, I don't want to play for an hour and not get anything, only thing left for me at 1.1 was the incursion but of course that didn't really work out so I was pretty much stuck between that and new games it was pretty much game over for me.
I might have link into expansion so hopefully they offer something new.
The big things for me are better loot, more variation (they have some guns that can light people on fire or blind people but they're ultra rare), release the other maps on challenge mode (why hasn't this happened yet?!)
I'd really like to see some variance in the missions like maybe have it some you have to coordinate: say there's some package that needs to be delivered but if you leave the control room the enemies will close the door, so part of the team has to stay and fight off the enemies while the other part of the team delivers the package. How about introducing night vision goggles and you have to turn off the power in a high rise and then turn off the generators level by level as you try to kill the boss? You know something.
When I was playing UC4 I missed some of the options you have for things like crowd control or offense in the division.
