Funny thing is.. You can have the best stats in game without using any division tech.
No, the problem is that the gear you get from drops aren't worth the effort you get from crafting. Crafting shouldn't allow the possiblity of getting the best weapons possible in the game while weapons from a drop will never hit that type of performance.

It's always going to be best in slot weapons vs best in slot weapons like in destiny. People are going to use the absolute best shyt so they can win. It's just like everyone using the vector for PvP in the division. If there wasn't re-rolling for talents you'd still have everyone running around with OP vectors just without talents.

The problem is they need to re-balance their guns and everything else. LMG's and shotguns are worthless to AR's and SMG and snipers. They also need to fix their itemization. I shouldn't be able to get better gear for crafting compared to killing the toughest boss in that relevant content.

Final Fantasy 14 has the best weapon system. Basically you can quest a very strong weapon that gets stronger as you do the quest and it's the top weapon except for the raid boss drops. However without that quest weapon or something similar, you probably won't kill the boss.

Crafting in the division should be something you should have to level up. It's like you don't even have to work for it right now.

I'm not gonna complain because I believe the incursion weapons will be better than the current weapons available. If not that's a major problem.

I disagree on shotguns being worthless. In the darkzone I'm not sure if it was a glitch but this guy hit me with a shotgun and I stumbled for like 20 seconds. Another guy killed me with one shot it was like a Felwinters Lie lol..

You are saying that you can have the perfect gun/gear with all of the proper talents to maximize DPS/Crit damage or whatever build you are trying to make without division tech? :comeon:

You shouldn't have to work for crafting. In most games like this, you don't have to work for crafting because it's meant to be an alternative for people to get decent gear since they are not able to fully dedicate the time like other dedicated players. They could fix this problem if they simply didn't allow the best gear in the game to be crafted...

As far as shotguns, as much as I like them I don't see the point when I can just use a vector that already has a very high crit chance along with crit damage boost and quickly down you from ranges where a shotgun would not be as effective as it should.

So where I can I get the best blueprints for a Marksman Rifle and a LMG? I gotta get up to a DZ 50 but I'm planning on farming while I work my way up there and saving my Phoenix Credits to cop some useful blueprints.

I'm having fun with this game in a way I havent had in a long time. I'm almost done with the story portion and I'm not the least bit tired of the game. There's so many things I like about this particular game. Right now I just don't want it to end. I have a crazy backlog so I'm not gonna front like this is the only game I'll be playing but at the moment I'm having a blast.
Breh I'd chill for a minute with that, I was dead cert on the season pass earlier on but 2 weeks later I'm finding the game's run it's course. Like it's still enjoyable to dip in and out of but it's not replaced Destiny as my go to like I thought it would. I suppose the season pass will add more to the game but I've found the gameplay (cover shooting generic bullet sponges) a bit tiring. That's just me though. Waiting on that PoE update to restore the feeling.

I couldn't stand Destiny when it first came out. When the taken king came out I bought it and was enjoying it like crazy for all of 2 - 3 weeks before I through the game in the bushes again.
Too many of the fun missions require a full squad to take on. Also, the game is just a boring grind fest for weapons that you don't even really need. Its way too repetitive for me.
With the Division I can play the entire game solo, or with a squad. The progression paced very well, the story is interesting and the environments are dope.
It all really boils down to personal preference because the games are very similar, but for me, I prefer the drop in drop out co - op of The Division over Destiny which tries to force you into playing a certain way.

I hear you, and I'm not trying to shyt on the Division cos I do have it and still play it. if you're feeling it by all means get the season pass. Not to turn this into a vs argument but post TTK Destiny offers so much more be it solo, co-op or pvp. I've just finished Iron Banner control, new Warpriest challenge this week, Prisoner of Elders next week, not to mention the many Strikes, raids, Nightfalls, Exotic collectibles.
That said, it's an unfair comparison as Destiny has had a couple years to perfect itself whereas the Division is in its infancy. Really wish the Division had dedicated PVP modes and none of this quasi-hybrid DZ bullshyt. Not trying to derail the thread so I'll dead the talk, really hope the upcoming Incursion updates deliver.

The game would definitely benefit from a team death match mode and some objective based competition.
