Cant convince me this isnt a social media fad.
Pressure is an inherent part of sports competition, but pop culture has turned into something else. Its one thing if you dont perform according to standard, but seems wild for an athlete to quit mid-competition without suffering a physical injury.

I like posting during the live threads for the jokes im not a narrative guy. But at least with team sports you've already invested years with the team etc. With the Olympics it just pops up they run a promo about trauma and everybody is just locked in

i actually don't mind this tokyo ish, I'm working remotely so im watching all these live stuff during the day. And then at 9pm you get those live swimming events.
When track starts that will suck though as I love watching the heats etc.
