USA needs to start investing back into track & field at the collegiate level. This Olympics performance is telling. Most of these athletes just finished running the SEC & ACC track meet. What happened to the seasoned trained professional. The ones I see in the diamond league and world championships a year ago were not present.

Yeah it’s crazy to see some of those folks who was just running in the NCAA championship now running in the Olympics like a month later. Anthing Mu did both and still handled business tho

The lucky few will get endorsements or sign to nike, adidas etc. where they may get a monthly stipend or iaaf diamond league etc.. The majority they work regular jobs like me and you
